Oh, Canada! Etobicoke Centennial Choir's Summer concert

    June 2, 2018

Etobicoke Centennial Choir’s final concert of the season showcases the diverse talents of Canadian choral composers and arrangers. With repertoire ranging from the sacred - Imant Raminsh’s sublime Ave Verum Corpus and Toronto composer Srul Irving Glick’s contemporary setting of texts from the Psalms, Sing unto the Lord a New Song - to choral interpretations of Canadian folk songs, spirited Maritime sea shanties and Paul Halley’s stirring Freedom Trilogy, the choir will take the audience on a musical journey of our home and native land. Conductor: Henry Renglich, Music Director of Etobicoke Centennial Choir. Accompanist: Carl Steinhauser, piano. Guest Instrumentalist: Angela Schwarzkopf, harp. At Humber Valley United Church, 76 Anglesey Blvd, Etobicoke, M9A 3C1. $25 general admission. Group rates available. Order online at www.etobicokecentennialchoir.ca or phone (416) 779-2258.
