Hi Diane… I bet I could take some really neat shots from up there. Thanks for the suggestion.
How about Taste of the Kingsway that’s coming up soon!
That will definitely be on the list. Thanks Sandra.
A nice walk through the conservatory at Centennial Park.
Hi Mary… I will look at putting that suggestion up in the Spring.

Hi Beth… I already have the next few entries ready to be written but I’ll look at your suggestion for the very near future. Thanks!
Don’t miss Fantasy Fair (inside the Woodbine Shopping Centre)……Ontarios’ Largest Indoor Amusement Park where perfect weather is always guaranteed!
Guaranteed perfect weather is a good tagline. I might use it. Thanks MaryAnne.
I love this website, fantastic work. We love you for that. I love the list so far, don’t forget Hollywood on the Queensway. A great bar to get together and enjoy great wings, nachos, ice cold bear and great music and dancing.
Keep up the great work.
Hollywood is definitely going up on the list in the coming weeks. It’s usually where we go after a night at the movies or to check out the local band. In fact, I was there two Saturdays ago to take pictures. Stay tuned!

What a great website and the message is an important one! I encourage everyone to give the site a look and look for a write up on 365etobicoke.com very soon!
Thank you.
Hello: A very cool website, and one that is sorely needed! May I be bold enough to suggest that our yoga studio be listed?! Maureen Rae’s Yoga Studio, 5324 Dundas Street West.
It’s hard to believe that our Grand Opening was 9 years ago! Since that time a wonderful community has been built around our teachings and our venue. Many have come through our doors, and stayed and stayed.
We teach in the Tradition of Hatha Yoga, a physical flowing style wherein postures are connected by breath. In addition to the many classes that we offer each week, we also lead DanceYoga Classes – a unique work blending yoga with tai chi, dance and pilates. Morning and Evening Meditation classes will be available in the fall, as will the very popular Zumba! class. Zumba is a vibrant Latin-inspired workout with easy to follow moves, and is great fun.
Our studio is also an Approved Yoga Alliance School of Yoga. This is the Gold Standard world-wide, and we are very proud of this designation. I travel widely across Canada to present teacher training workshop. We offer many in our studio as well.
Our studio was 2009 Studio of the Year in Etobicoke! and just last weekend, I was awarded the prestigious CanFitPro Canadian Presenter of the Year Award.
I would be very happy to speak further with you about listing our studio on your website. Thanks so much.
Hi Maureen… I am a big fan of yoga and have taken classes in the past. Stay tuned!
Great job on the website! Another very unique place to visit is Victoria’s Tea Garden (next to Singing Lady Consignment). It’s a retail store in the front and an eatery in the back. The menu has dozens of interesting teas from all over the world. There are victorian garden murals on the walls and guests can select their own garden hat to wear (guys can wear a top hat) while they enjoy their tea and meal. All the utensils, dishes, plates & teapots are old-style victorian era. It’s an interesting place to experience!
Thanks Julia. I’m very familiar with Victoria’s Tea Garden as I live in the area. How did the recent renovations go?
Definitely a future entry on the list.
Hi Richard,
We just got married and took dance classes at Arthur Murray studio on Bloor – what a fantastic time! I would recommend this to all people of all ages, and if personal classes are not your style there are group classes as well. All types of dance, a friendly staff. They were very patient with me when I stepped on my husbands toes for the thousand and first time!
Hi Laura,
Arthur Murray is a great entry and will be added in the next few weeks. Thanks for sharing!
How about hiking in High Park? The petting zoo in High Park and the amazing off leash in High Park…and Bar n Fitz in Bloor West Village
Sorry, typo…Bark n Fitz
Thanks Carley…
Is High Park considered Etobicoke? It’s kind of bordering it but I don’t know if it’s in Etobicoke officially.
There are lots of things to do at High Park and it would be great addition or two.
And for amazing coffee….

Hi Richard… check out Woody’s Burgers on Lake Shore at Brown’s Line if you haven’t already. AMAZING.
Hey Lesia,
I will definitely have to check it out in the coming weeks. You wouldn’t believe how many people have told me about Woody’s burgers.
And don’t forget my favorite hide-away AL Lago — Lakeshore just east of 30th street.
An intimate quirky little Italian restaurant where the owner/cook greets you and takes your order — the trick is… he doesn’t give you a menu, unless you ask.
Basically, tell him what you’re in the mood for and he’ll make it for you.
My favorite: Chicken Parmesan. You don’t need a knife, you can cut it with your fork. The pasta sauce is home made — tell him how spicy you want it and you’ve got it.
So glad to see Paws on the Shore made the list! Thanks so much!!
Need to add Buns Master Bakery (on Kipling) to the list!
