Molson Coors Canada is the title sponsor for the second annual Chair Aware Challenge. A challenge that asks people to spend an entire day in a wheelchair to raise money and awareness for Muscular Dystrophy Canada, an organization that provides essential services and funds research for cures and therapies for neuromuscular disorders that affect 50,000 Canadians.
Broadcasting live in wheelchairs from the Molson Coors Brewery Beer Store on Carlingview Drive in Etobicoke, John Tory of Newstalk 1010 will host the kick off event with former Mayor of Toronto Mel Lastman. Rickard’s Beer and partner Broil King will be serving up some delicious BBQ eats and have provided amazing BBQ prizes for those who join the festivities on site. Molson Coors might even have a little something extra for the first 100 folks to drop in and show their support on Monday. Apparently, the prizes will help you kick off the upcoming May 2-4 long weekend. Can’t go? Donate here.
So if you’re free, go on and support a great cause and enjoy some BBQ while you’re at it at the Molson Coors Chair Aware Challenge 2010!
