It’s a beautiful thing when a community gets together and creates something special. The Humber Bay Shores Condominium Association has done just that in creating a popular and successful farmers market for its community. The best part is that everyone in Etobicoke and the GTA is welcome to the Humber Bay Shores Farmers Market.
The Humber Bay Shores Farmers Market takes place 9am to 2pm every Saturday in Humber Bay Park West from late May until early October. It doesn’t need to be said but a farmers market is only as good as the vendors that make up the market. In this case the Humber Bay Shores Condominium Association, or HBSCA for short, has attracted quite the assortment of farmers and local growers in Ontario to set up shop here ever Saturday. Everyone knows that fresh produce is readily available at a farmers market but I’m always shocked when I see people surprised that they could not only pick up veggies and fruit but a variety of meat and dairy products as well. Cured meats, hamburgers, steaks, cheeses, yogurt, sauces, ice wines, the list just goes on and on.
Needless to say we are spoiled here in Etobicoke by all of the farmers markets that take place in our great city. So much so that due to there being only so many days in the week some of the markets will take place at the same time on the same day. No matter, as long as one of the farmers markets that you visit is the Humber Bay Shores Farmers Market, the HBSCA will be more than happy!
