If you’ve paid attention to the media lately you’ve probably heard the term “crossfit” being tossed around as the newest way to get in shape and I can tell you it works. It is inevitable that with this new exposure many new crossfit trainers and gyms will pop up and soon fade away. Crossfit Colosseum in Etobicoke, however, has been doing this for years.

Crossfit Colosseum is located at 222 Islington Avenue and they are the innovators when it comes to crossfit training. What is crossfit? It’s basically a way of challenging your body to grow and tone muscle by participating in exercises that aren’t routine. At Crossfit Colosseum you’ll be asked to work your body in ways that you’ve never worked it before, at a speed you’ve never reached before. O-rings, flipping tires, etc. You won’t find these things at your typical gym.

Speaking from personal experience I’ve been going to a regular gym for about 15 years. And although I consider myself to be in decent shape I’ve never really reached that next level. This is where Crossfit Colosseum comes in.

To work out at Crossfit Colosseum you’ll need to go through an initial workout to measure your performance. If you succeed at the initial session you can work out a plan with the instructors.

If you’re satisfied with your routine and getting the results you desire than the gym you’re going to now is fine. If you’re not satisfied and want to take the next step. Check out Crossfit Colosseum in Etobicoke.
