Arts in the Parks brings free, family-friendly arts events and activities to a park near you. Think theatre performances, dance classes, workshops, movies, festivals and more, right in your backyard!
Welcome To This Place will further explore the creative and collaborative potential of parks as cultural spaces and places of welcoming for refugees and asylum-seekers. Through weekly workshops, an art and nature camp, song circles, and environmental art projects; 10 MABELLE artists and 10 MABELLE youth will work with hundreds of community members over 4 months to devise a cross-cultural ceremony that transforms Broadacres Park into a safe harbour for and with refugees and asylum-seekers.
