#43 Wingporium

If I were a superhero my weakness would be wings. I could be in the middle of a four-week health kick and if a friend asked me if I wanted to “do” wings I’d be there in a heartbeat. Wingporium in Etobicoke is every chicken wing lover’s dream.

Wingporium, located at 1000 Islington Avenue (North of The Queensway), opened in 2005 and is the go-to place for people who like specialty wings. They use Canola oil which is healthier than the regular cooking oil that other establishments us. Having several types of beer on draught Wingporium is the perfect place to catch the game.

I used to find it amazing those bars that would serve 9 or 10 types of wings. Wingporium has 88 flavours! 88! Eight-Eight! EIGHTY-EIGHT!!! I couldn’t name 88 flavours of anything much less flavours that would make wings delicious. For those that are curious, I will name them all here:
