I’ve always thought of The Kingsway as a very classy section of Bloor Street West in Etobicoke. You’ll always find people strolling along, window shopping, and grabbing a bite to eat at one of the area’s great restaurants. Now multiply that by many thousands and you have Taste of the Kingsway.
The Taste of the Kingsway is an annual event put on by the Kingsway BIA that grows in popularity and size year over year. Taking place on Bloor Street West between Prince Edward Drive and Montgomery Road, there will be over 30 Kingsway restaurants serving up delicious food with a variety of international flavours. There will also be a Beer and Wine Garden with Great Lakes Brewery as one of the featured breweries. Three stages will have continuous live acts throughout the weekend (click the website below for stage times). Another great attraction and a mainstay at the Taste of the Kingsway is the Scotiabank Dog Show. Don’t forget to register your dog to compete.
Taste of the Kingsway includes other entertainment options that are fun for the entire family. You have midway rides, games, clowns, face painters, rock climbing walls for the kids. You also have exotic auto displays, artisans and crafters pavilions, and fitness demonstrations for the adults. There is so much to do it’s hard to list it all. You can leave the car at home and take the TTC (Royal York Station).
So make some time this weekend and come check out the Taste of the Kingsway. Truly, fun for the entire family and a classic Etobicoke event.

The Taste of the Kingsway Festival is well worth a visit whether you’re takin g your kids, going for a stroll, or you want to wine and dine. Good music too with a band every hour.
Thanks for the feedback Paul. It really is a great time.
You have a little typo in the article – – just wanted to let you know 🙂
I think we just fixed it. Unless you can tell us where it is. 🙂
