In what could be described in one of the closest votes Etobicoke has ever seen, Conservative Ted Optiz defeats incumbant Borys Wrzesnewskyj by a scant 26 votes.  A vote recount is sure to follow.  Liberal Leader Michael Ignatief also lost his seat to Conservative Bernard Trottier.  With the defeat of Michael Ignatief Etobicoke has played a major role in the political landscape of Canada.  Here are the 2011 Federal Election Results for Etobicoke:

  1. Dose anyone know if the Etobicoke Centre were borys is, has it already gone through its recount. I can not find any information on the internet about it… Is Borys not the winner? Thanks
