With the lowest voter turnout ever, Dalton McGuinty and the Liberals stay in power, albeit with a minority government. One of the election’s most intensely debated hot-button topics and affecting Etobicoke’s residents was the election promise made by McGuinty to halt the Greenfield South Power Plant. For the sake of those residents living near Sherway Gardens let’s hope he sticks to that promise. There were no surprise wins in the Etobicoke ridings with Donna Cansfield, Laurel Broten, and Shafiq Qaadri winning their seats. Here are the voting results for Etobicoke:
