With the proliferation of sushi restaurants in Toronto you wouldn’t think that we’d be lucky enough here in Etobicoke to have some of the better sushi restaurants in the GTA. Fortunately, you’d be wrong as Etobicoke is home to Toku Gawa.
Toku Gawa, located at 4944 Dundas Street West, is another great sushi restaurant located in our little city. The first you’ll notice immediately is the high level of service provided here. Friendly and attentive, the people serving you will make you feel as if you’re the only dinner party in the restaurant. The menu, however, is ultimately why people come to Toku Gawa. The miso soup is always hot, the salads always crisp, and the fish is always fresh. There is something for everyone here but I always find myself gravitating to the many rolls being offered. Local favourites are Hurricane Rolls, Red Dragon Rolls, and Kiss of Fire Rolls.
I’m always surprised to find how many people travel downtown for a tasty and affordable Japanese meal. The fact of the matter is that you can get all right here in Etobicoke by visiting Toku Gawa Japanese Restaurant.
