Where else can you pretend to be Mario Andretti, put the pedal to the metal, and not get a speeding ticket? The answer is 401 Mini-Indy in Etobicoke. Look to your right heading west on the 401 before the 427 exit and you’ll see the familiar sign. It’s a great location too since most people will want to drive fast after sitting in traffic.

401 Mini-Indy is located at 37A Stoffel Drive and it’s a place where you can, legally, race the 9-horsepower go-karts against friends in a computerized timed and scored laps. The great thing about 401 Mini-Indy is that it’s indoors, meaning you can race year round, rain or shine. They are open pretty late during the week and later on the weekends so no matter your schedule you can always squeeze in a lap or 10. And don’t be fooled by the word “go-kart”. These things can motor and because you are close to the ground you can really feel the speed. But don’t worry, it’s totally safe too! If Go-Karts aren’t your thing there’s also a mini-putt course at the same location. There are numerous specials and events so take advantage by visiting their website to see what’s going on and when. Needless to say it’s the perfect spot for birthdays and corporate events with both receiving groups rates.

So stop playing Mario-Kart at home and participate in some real racing action at 401 Mini-Indy in Etobicoke!

  1. I will NEVER go here ever again. Went with a bunch of friends and was waiting patiently for our turn; even when it was taking over two hours! There was still a group that had arrived before ours, when they put another group that had not waited as long on to the track!

When my friends and I went to ask for refunds they tried to deny us! I’m sure they weren’t looking forward to explain to the owners how they let 400 dollars walk out the door.
