Supporting community arts programs is vitally important to the success and continuation of such programs. “The Artful Palate: A Taste of Etobicoke” is an annual fundraiser that not only succeeds in its endeavour to provide funds through to Arts Etobicoke but also in creating a fun night for all who attend.
“The Artful Palate: A Taste of Etobicoke” is in its 9th year and is held at Cirilo’s Culinary Academy at 4894 Dundas Street West. Organized by the board of directors of Arts Etobicoke, funds raised go directly to supporting art-related programs such as free after-school programming for local kids, arts education for at-risk youth, dance programs for seniors, artist workshops, arts advocacy, and so much more. Arts Etobicoke does so much for the community and it needs and appreciates the help of those that are able to provide it.
So what goes on at The Artful Palate? It’s truly a fun evening complete with tasting stations, food demonstrations, a silent auction, and a selection of art displays by fantastic artists. This year the event will feature Chef George Correia, Executive Chef for Woodbine Entertainment Group, Chef Gaurav Saxena from Delmanor Prince Edward, Chefs Venkatesh & Venkatesh from Kothur Indian Cuisine and Everest Hakka House, Chef Pedro Quintanilla from Bloom Restaurant, and a celebrated Chef from Grappa Restaurant.. Tickets are still available and can be purchased in singles or groups of four. Donations are also gratefully accepted in lieu of attendance.
“Come share in the culture and food of the Etobicoke community and support the work of Arts Etobicoke” by attending The Artful Palate.
