There are few things more touching than an injured or abandoned animal looking up at you. Even though they’re not actually saying it you know deep down they’re asking for help. The Etobicoke Humane Society answers that call.
The Etobicoke Humane Society are located at 67 Six Point Road. They are committed to rescuing injured, abused and abandoned animals and do not believe in euthanasia except in cases where the animal is beyond help. It’s hard to believe that the Etobicoke Humane Society is an all-volunteer organization that does not pay salaries. Administration costs are covered by fundraising efforts and the majority of donations go directly to animal care. Volunteers are always welcome!
The Etobicoke Humane Society currently houses several beautiful cats and dogs available for adoption at the shelter but call ahead for an appointment. Please visit the Etobicoke Humane Society website below for more information on adoption. It’s important to note that the Etobicoke Humane Society is completely separate from Toronto Animal Services Etobicoke Division and the Toronto Humane Society.
The Etobicoke Humane Society also hosts several great events throughout the year including the Annual Leashes By The Lake Dog Walk-a-thon and Pet Fest which is great fun for the whole family.
If you’re looking to add a loyal cat or dog to your family, or if you have some time to volunteer at this wonderful organization, please contact the Etobicoke Humane Society today.
