2015 Federal Election Results for Etobicoke

In a crushing blow to the Conservative party the Liberals have regained some key seats in the West end of Toronto. Ted Opitz, who won by only a few votes in the last election of 2011 was soundly defeated by returning candidate Borys Wrzesnewskyj. Also, sitting MPP Bernard Trottier was beaten by Liberal James Maloney by 20% of the vote. The political landscape of Canada has certainly changed by the election of Justin Trudeau but what that means going forward will be domnstrated over the next four years.
