Sherway Gardens is the crown jewel amongst many shopping experiences in Etobicoke. Considered an upscale mall, it contains over 240 stores occupying more than 500,000 square feet of retail space. And it’s about to get bigger!
Sherway Gardens, located at Hwy. 427 and the QEW/Queensway, is a shopper’s mall. The layout is a figure eight and, unlike most shopping centers, you can easily walk the entire mall without having to retrace your steps which is great for those who like to shop in heels. Sherway Gardens is anchored by established stores such as The Bay, Holt Renfrew, Sears, and Sporting Life. Shopping for a new wardrobe? Check out Harry Rosen, Abercrombie and Fitch, Aritzia, or Guess. Accessories? Get your purse at Coach or Michael Kors. Decorating your home? Pottery Barn has what you’re looking for. Into computers and games? The Apple Store, The Sony Store, or EB Games. Victoria’s Secret just opened up and the store is gorgeous. Forever21 and Tiffany’s just opened their doors and are seeing great foot traffic! Sherway Gardens is also home to the first Lego Store in Ontario! With interactive play areas for the kids and so many Lego sets you’ll find the store as much fun as they do.
The food court in Sherway Gardens is located on the upper level which means that you can shop without having to smell someone else’s big mac combo. The parking layout which is evenly distributed around the perimeter of the mall ensures that even when occupying one of the furthest spaces during the Christmas rush you really aren’t that far from any entrance.
Sherway Gardens is also getting a 300 million dollar expansion! The mall will be getting a second level in the North West portion of the mall. Along with a three level parking garage. What this means is more great stores for shoppers in the coming future.
Although not as large as other Toronto malls such as the Eaton Centre and Yorkdale, Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke is truly a delight when it comes to the full shopping experience.
